Welcome to planDisney, Jacob. Thanks for taking the time to stop by with your question for us.
Mickey and his Pals are gearing up to welcome Guests back to the Happiest Place on Earth next week! After an extended closure due to the pandemic, so many people (myself included!) cannot wait to
return to a land of Magic. It’s been so long since we were able to stroll down Main Street, U.S.A. and ride on favorite attractions like
Matterhorn Bobsleds or Pirates of the Caribbean.
I’m glad to hear you were able to secure some
theme park tickets for you and your friends. In order to enjoy a visit, you and your friends will need to ensure you have
park reservations for the day(s) you wish to visit and that the names on your tickets match names on identification cards. As you know, during the initial phased reopening, the State of California is only allowing in-state residents to visit theme parks. Cast Members may require Guests over the age of 18 to present valid identification card as proof of residency. To prevent you and your friends from encountering issues or possibly get turned away at the entrance on the day of your visit, I highly recommend you reassign your tickets to each member of your travel party. I suggest that you
contact Disneyland Resort Technical Support at (714) 520-6222 or Disneyland Ticket Services at (714) 781-4636. A friendly Cast Member will be able to help you assign the tickets to your friends who will be joining you. There may be some wait time before connecting to a Cast Member, but your patience is greatly appreciated. Cast Members are working diligently to ensure you and all Guests have the best experience. While this may be a slight hassle, it would be a real bummer if you encounter delays or worse, potentially get turned away at the gates on the day of your visit.
If you have additional questions regarding planning a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth, please don’t hesitate to
write us again! We’re all EARS.
Have a magical day,
Kiki
