I have a bunch of photos in my PhotoPass gallery that look like stock pictures of characters and locations. What are these? Will they go away or do I need to delete them?

Hi Karenna and welcome to planDisney!

The Disney PhotoPass Service is such a great way to capture magical memories on a Walt Disney World vacation!  Purchasing Memory Maker gives you all of your photos taken with a PhotoPass photographer, plus your attraction photos.  I love leaving the photography to Disney so my whole family can be in the photos instead of one person being behind the camera, who is usually me.  I especially love taking "magic shots" where they add a little surprise to your photo like a character or decorations.

You can easily view and share your PhotoPass gallery right on the My Disney Experience mobile app.  Sometimes bonus, complimentary stock photos will show up in your account based on the location where you take your PhotoPass photos.  I have a beautiful photo of the Tree of Life at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park from our visit to the park a couple of weeks ago.  They will drop from your account when your photos expire.  There is no need to delete them, but you can if you would like.  To do this, pull up your PhotoPass gallery on a computer as it cannot be done from the mobile app.  Click on the photo you want to delete and then click on the trash can icon under the photo.  You'll get a confirmation that you would like to delete it and then you're done!

Please stop back by and visit if you have any additional vacation planning questions.

    Have a magical day!
