I recommend calling
Merchandise Guest Services to chat with a friendly Cast Member about your situation. When I called they asked for the receipt or possibly a bank statement to verify the purchase, so it may be best to call with your own personal details. They may be able to help troubleshoot the issue as well as share what options are available to get your lightsaber back in working order. After all, what's a Jedi without their weapon of choice - blasters are so uncivilized. It sounded like they would be able to swap out a Kyber crystal (if that was the problem), so I imagine they would also be able to help if there's an issue with the hilt.
I know it can be disappointing having to manage through this after
building your lightsaber, but I'm confident it won't be long until it's ready for use again. This aside, I hope you enjoyed your visit to
Batuu. I always love traveling to this planet to see who I will run into at the Black Spire Outpost, and I always love grabbing a Cold Brew Black Caf while I'm "on planet" to refuel.
