Hiya, Heather!
Welcome back to planDisney! It’s always a pleasure to see familiar friends returning to us with their Disney vacation questions. Thank you for trusting us as part of your planning journey!
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, specifically
The Villas at the Grand Floridian, holds a special place in my family's hearts as the perfect blend of Victorian elegance and modern luxury. From its exquisite dining options to its prime location, just a short walk or monorail stop away from Magic Kingdom Park, it’s a magical place to call home during your
Walt Disney World vacation.
The main
Disney Vacation Club building, located closest to the iconic Disney’s Wedding Pavilion, is where you’ll find the Deluxe Studios and the 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom villas. Meanwhile, the newer Resort Studios are in the Big Pine Key building. These Resort Studios are part of a stunning expansion introducing about 200 beautifully updated accommodations. Whether staying in the main Villas building or Big Pine Key, you’ll find refreshed furnishings, modernized amenities, and a timeless design that blends seamlessly with the Grand Floridian’s classic charm.
For an extra Disney touch, I highly recommend catching the
Happily Ever After fireworks outside the Magic Kingdom during your stay. You can enjoy a front-row view with a delectable meal at
Narcoossee’s, located right at the resort, or hop on the monorail to the nearby
Polynesian Village Resort to watch the show from its lovely beaches. Both are ideal settings that will create core memories to last a lifetime.
I hope this helps answer your question, Heather! If you have more planning questions as you prepare for your getaway, I’d love to see you swing by planDisney again.
I’d be happy to help!
See you real soon!
