Hello Sarah!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a very good question.
I really enjoy staying at
value Disney Resort hotels. They are convenient, nicely decorated, fit my budget, and the larger-than-life characters and icons are so much fun! My daughter loves walking around to explore the different areas within each resort hotel.
Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort is my favorite among the Disney All-Star Resorts because the theming is dedicated to classic Disney movies and the guest rooms have been recently refurbished. Preferred rooms are located in 101 Dalmatian buildings 1 and 4, Fantasia buildings 5 and 8, and Toy Story buildings 9 and 10. At
Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort the preferred rooms are available in buildings 1 and 6 (Surf’s Up) and buildings 7 and 10 (Touchdown!), and at
Disney’s All-Star Music Resort you will find them in buildings 1 and 10 (Calypso) and 2 and 9 (Jazz Inn). Please note that although you can ask for specific buildings while doing online check-in, requests are not guaranteed and locations are subject to change without notice. However, my personal experience is that all the buildings that offer preferred rooms are centrally and conveniently located.
What I like about staying in a preferred room is being close to the lobby, food court and transportation to the theme parks and Disney Springs. Don’t forget to download the
My Disney Experience mobile app and use it during your stay to check the transportation schedule for buses departing your Disney Resort hotel and to unlock the door of your guest room.
I hope this helps you while planning, Sarah! Please stop by real soon with more questions.
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
