what building or room is the best to stay at if I have a theme park view room at the Grand Floridian?

    Welcome to planDisney Roderick!

There is something so special about staying at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. It truly is the ultimate Disney Resort experience! Take time to explore the grand lobby, fantastic restaurants, and the splashing-fun pools. You may never want to leave the property during your vacation!

Theme Park View rooms will be located in Boca Chica, Sago Cay, and Conch Key. There are also Theme Park View rooms in the main building if you booked the Concierge Level. You really cannot go wrong with any of these buildings. Most rooms on the top floor of each outer building have a smaller balcony, but these rooms have vaulted ceilings. It is all just personal preference. I usually prefer a lower floor, but all locations and views are magical. As long as you booked a Theme Park View Room, you should have an unforgettable room and view!

The great thing about the Grand Floridian is each room type and view is unique! My kids loved facing the monorail when they were little, whereas I enjoy a pool view. Really, how can you go wrong with any of the options?

The location of this resort is second to none in my opinion! Hop on the resort monorail for a quick trip to the Magic Kingdom, or transfer at the TTC to the EPCOT monorail. You may also opt to take a relaxing stroll to the Magic Kingdom on the paved walkway. It takes about 15 minutes from resort to theme park.

One of my favorite parts of staying at the Grand Floridian is the nightly Electrical Water Pageant that sails by. What a magical way to end your day!

I hope you have a GRAND stay at this Mickey-magical resort!

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
