When my family visited the planet Batuu a few months ago, customizing droids at
Droid Depot was a must-do for my young Padawans. One of my sons built an R-unit and the other built a BB-unit. Their customized droids fit their different personalities perfectly! Droid backpacks are available for purchase at Droid Depot, but my sons opted not to spend the extra souvenir money. The droids were packed in carrying boxes, but it didn't take us long to realize that they were too heavy and bulky to be carrying around
Disney's Hollywood Studios all day.
Souvenir Pick-Up and Resort Hotel Delivery are both unavailable at this time, so my husband carried the droids to Oscar's Super Service, near the entrance of the theme park. There he was able to have the droids safely stored for a fee of $5 each (please note that prices are subject to change at any time). When we were ready to leave Disney's Hollywood Studios at the end of the day, we just stopped by Oscar's Super Service, showed our receipt, and left with droids in hand to head back to our Disney Resorts Collection hotel.
