Is build your own cupcake still available as dessert option for children at Cinderella's Royal Table?

A dream is a wish your heart makes, Yolanda! It's my pleasure to welcome you back to planDisney and answer your question about dessert options at Cinderella's Royal Table. I am still dreaming of enjoying a meal at this character dining experience, and I know that if I keep on believing the dream that I wish will come true. I'm so glad your dream of dining with princesses will become a reality on your next visit, and I'd be glad to provide an answer to your question.

I have heard tales about the Build-Your-Own Cupcake dessert that was available to children on the kid's menu, but it seems as though the clock has struck midnight on this creative offering. When I took a look at the menu for Cinderella's Royal Table, the only desserts I saw were The Sword in the Sweet, The Jaq and Gus Cheesecake, and a Seasonal Sorbet option. Adults have two additional options in The Clock Strikes Twelve and a Floating Island dessert, but I do not see a cupcake offering on the menu at this time. Now, no matter how your heart is grieving this news, I do have some other options for you if a cupcake is the dessert you're after.

I looked at every quick service restaurant and kiosk menu at Magic Kingdom to find other cupcake offerings, and I'm pleased to let you know there are cupcakes available! You can grab a Merry Unbirthday Cupcake at Cheshire Cafe which is a sprinkle-filled cake with tea-infused icing, or head over to Gaston's Tavern for the famous Grey Stuff Cupcake which features chocolate cake and a cookies and cream inspired frosting. There are also seasonal and rotating flavors of cupcakes to be found at the Main Street Confectionery, so be sure to pop in for a visit to see what's on offer.

I hope this helps you satisfy that cupcake craving on an upcoming vacation, Yolanda! Come see us again at planDisney if you have more dining questions. We love to serve up answers for our fellow guests.

    Stay magical,
    Scott
