Hello there, Jedi Kathryn. Welcome back to our galaxy at planDisney!
Currently, you cannot ship home your newly built lightsaber from
Savi's Workshop to international destinations from within the park. However, security at the Orlando International Airport is very familiar with these pieces of "Scrap Metal" and most airlines will allow you to check them with your luggage or even carry them on with you. Of course, you'll want to check with your airline ahead of time, but this is usually the case. If you still have your Jedi heart set on mailing it home ahead of time, there is currently a
Guest Shipping Station at
Disney Springs in between
Once Upon a Toy and
Tren-D that will likely have options for you. There are also shipping companies like UPS and FedEx around the Orlando area that will also have options for you.
While you're in
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, be sure to play the Batuu Bounty Hunters game with the
Play Disney Parks mobile app and the latest version of DisneyBand. After all, do or do not, there is no try! But if you don't have one of these nifty new pieces of tech, you don't have to have a bad feeling about this. Simply using the app as a
Star Wars: DataPad within the land will provide you with tons of intergalactic fun translating the native language of Aurebesh and intercepting messages. But you may have to make a choice. Are you part of the Resistance...or the First Order? Don't worry about me, I'm just a visitor to these parts. I won't tell. It's a trap! Or is it?
Kathryn, may you be one with the Force, and may the Force be one with you. If you have any other questions, like Yoda,
here for you I am!
Rebellions are built on hope,
Matt
