If you make build a droid, can it come home on a plane? I've heard that it can't. Thank you.

    Hi Doreen!

Hyperspace to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disney's Hollywood Studios, and be transported to a galaxy far, far away!

Disney (as always) hit a home run with this absolutely phenomenal area. Whether you pledge allegiance to the First Order or the Resistance, you will be blown away by the incredible thought and engineering put into making Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge as realistic as possible. I literally felt as if I were in the movie itself (representing the Resistance, of course :-)

So the Droid Depot is pretty amazing right? In terms of flight travel, I have heard (for the most part) guests aren't encountering many issues bringing it on their flight as a carry-on. Others, like myself, have chosen to do the checked-in luggage route, just because sometimes it's a "mixed bag" dealing with TSA security checks. However, I do understand those guests who prefer to keep this marvelous souvenir close to them as a carry-on, and not risk it getting damaged through luggage handling. We did checked-in luggage, placing the softest clothes we could find to surround the droid (breaking down the box the droid came in). It arrived at baggage claims without a scratch!

May you and yours have a magical time at Disney!
