Are there any bugs at the parks? Dont want to not bring the bugspray and get bitten like crazy by bugs.

    Derek,

Well, the bugs aren't like some fishing trips I've taken, but there are bugs.  In fact, my son was bitten by something and reacted so badly that we spent an afternoon getting him medical treatment --- however, this is not a typical guest experience!  Because of this, we do spray a light mist of bug spray on ourselves as precaution and pack some anti-itch medicine & antihistamine medicine when we visit during the warmer months.  The winter months haven't been a problem.

And then I should warn you about the lovebugs, they are everywhere during a couple of times a year.  Scary to look at, but not harmful. If you do a quick Google search, you can learn more about them if you are curious.
