Hi, Are buggies are allowed into the amusement park?

    Hi Rebecca!

What a ghoulishly delightful time to visit the Disneyland Resort with the happy haunts of Halloween Time out and about throughout the parks. You will love the festive touches, seasonal treats, and extra doses of magic around every corner. Whether you're strolling down Main Street, taking in all the sights and sounds, or hopping from one attraction to the next, a little planning goes a long way toward making your day smooth and full of pixie dust. Let's take a look at your question so you can put the finishing touches on your planning!

Without knowing too many details about the particular buggy you are hoping to use, I can provide some guidelines around strollers that may be helpful. Strollers in general should be no larger than 31" x 52 ", and stroller wagons are not permitted. Any wagons or strollers that pull from the front as opposed to push from behind are also not allowed. I spoke to Guest Services, who recommended reviewing the Stroller Rentals page. They mentioned that if your stroller does not fall within the parameters, it will be at the discretion of the Cast Members at security whether your buggy is permitted, so you may need to be prepared to return it to your car or hotel room.

If you'd like to ensure a smooth arrival, strollers, both single and double, are available for rent at the Stroller Shop just to the right of the Disneyland Park Main Entrance Gate. Rented strollers are first-come, first-served served so we always recommend heading there towards the start of your day. You are able to use them throughout Disneyland Park, California Adventure Park, and Downtown Disney. You will be required to return them before heading to any of the Disneyland Resort Hotels.

No matter what stroller you bring into the parks, I highly recommend marking it with something easy to spot. You will be surprised how much time this will save when you are coming off an attraction to a sea of strollers! Some Guests like to attach a balloon, some a bright colored ribbon, but anything easy to distinguish your stroller from the next will do!

Rebecca, I hope this was helpful! If you have any more questions, we are always here for you at planDisney!

    Magic awaits!
