BUG SPRAY? We live in Michigan and have bugs that will pick you up and carry you away. I don't want to lug around spray if we are not going to need it in the parks. Any one know if I need to carry it or not?

    Hi Nickolas!

Yeek!  Bugs that pick you up and carry you away?  You won't notice anything in Florida then!  Seriously,  I've been to Disney hundreds of times (not exaggerating) and really haven't had a problem with bugs.  I do remember a couple of times that I had mosquitoes bother me, and that was on line waiting to get into The Haunted Mansion (it's next to water).  Again, it was only a couple of times.  Instead of taking a can of bug spray, why don't you purchase the bug repellant wipes?  That's pretty compact, and you'll have it in case you need it.

Don't worry about the bugs Nickolas.  Have a wonderful time at Disney and thanks for visiting the Moms Panel.

Meet the Panelist: Marisol, Florida

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
