Hi Moms! What buffets would you recommend? We already plan to do Chef Mickey's & the Crystal Palace but we're looking for one more to add to our list. There will be six adults & a one year old on our trip this January. We plan to do the dining plan

    Hi Danielle!

I would definitely recommend Boma - Flavors of Africa as that is one of my family's favorite dining locations at the Walt Disney World Resort. The "buffet-style" restaurant, with side-by-side food pods, offers some truly delectable breakfast and dinner creations. For breakfast head on over to the omelette station to request your very own personalized breakfast omelette. Try the African pastries and the West Africa Frunch juice, a combination of pineapple juice, guava juice, orange juice, and papaya juice. For dinner I recommend the Butternut Squash Soup, the Moroccan Seafood Salad, the Vegetable Skewers, the Durban Spiced Roasted Chicken, and the various offerings at the signature wood-roasted carved meat station. For dessert, try the very tasty Zebra Domes. They are super yummy! I can guarantee that you will find yourself returning to Boma - Flavors of Africa on future visits to the Walt Disney World Resort.

Another fantastic option with Disney Characters would be The Garden Grill Restaurant. This dining location serves an all-you-care-to-eat, family-style dinner. You will love the delicious flank steak with mashed potatoes, moist turkey over perfectly seasoned dressing, and the sustainable fish of the day with vegetables! They will bring a bowl of garden salad and a piping hot delicious basket of bread rolls to your table too. Dessert typically consists of delicious fruit buckle. The children can get chocolate pudding topped with crumbled Oreo cookies and gummy worms.

Another all-you-care-to-eat family style dinner without characters I would recommend would be 'Ohana. Please let me know if I can answer any other Disney Vacation planning questions for you.

Enjoy a most magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
