If you are going to a buffet style restaurant with a child that doesn't eat much for breakfast, can you order something small for them, like toast, and only pay for the adults buffet or would you need to pay for the buffet for everyone?

Hi Roberta! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I have three little kids and I swear they all eat like birds. Even though I am always trying to offer them delicious and plentiful food choices, I often feel like I can’t win with them. However when we are at the Walt Disney World Resort they seem to eat not only more but also better than they do at home.

It is my understanding that as long as a child is three years of age or older, you will have to pay for them to eat at a Table Service location such as a buffet. However if you are concerned that your child will not eat I would ask a Cast Member when you check in if you have any options. I will say that I am always amazed at the amount of food choices that are offered, especially at the buffet dining locations. My kids always seem to find food that they love.

I hope that your little one works up a great appetite while exploring all of the magic. Have an unforgettable time!
