Hello! Is the buffet open for breakfast on the Disney Dream on the day you disembark? If so what time do they open? Thanks!

    Hi there, Corinne!

Ahoy and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I am so excited to hEAR you have a Disney Cruise Line vacation booked for early next yEAR!  Even though I am from Texas and we don’t have terribly cold winters, I always look forward to vacations in the winter months!  There is nothing better than setting sail with Captain Mickey for some fun in the sun!

That final morning onboard is always such a bittersweet morning!  While we are always eager to get back home and back into a routine, no one is ever ready for the vacation to be over!  If we have a later flight, we will often find ourselves lingering onboard as long as we possibly can, but often we have an early flight back home so getting off the ship is a priority!  When this is the case, we always go to Cabanas for breakfast!  I prefer to go to the buffet for breakfast because everyone can find what they want, and as much of it as they want, which is always a good idea when heading out for the journey back home!  While the hours will vary from voyage to voyage and ship to ship, on my most recent Disney Cruise Line vacation, the buffet was open at 6:30AM for Guests to get breakfast on that final morning.  Many Guests will opt to do “Express Walk Off” where they are responsible for getting their luggage off the ship as opposed to leaving it out the night before and picking it up in the cruise terminal.  “Express Walk Off” typically begins around 7:30AM so the buffet option allows Guests to get breakfast before disembarking.

Hopefully you will have a chance to visit the Vacation Planning Desk on Deck 4 during your voyage to book your next Disney Cruise Line vacation before disembarking….I always do this to ensure that I am not saying “goodbye” but rather “See Ya Real Soon!” when I swipe my Key to the World card that final time!

Wishing you a magical and memorable voyage at sea, Corinne!  Please come back with any other questions you have as you continue planning for your adventure!

    Happy Sailing!
