Maria teresa from Davao Del Sur Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

We're on a budget and plan to check in at Park Vue on June 22nd then the following day, transfer to Disneyland Hotel. Is it possible to leave our luggage at Disneyland Hotel and proceed to ride the Monorail? Theme park reservation is june 23 too.

Hello, Maria Teresa! Welcome to planDisney! Oh boy! I'm so thrilled to hear that you have a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth coming up very soon! I imagine you're counting down the days.

Thank you for your great question! Our family absolutely loves the Disneyland Hotel! Open just a few months after Disneyland Park in 1955, the Disneyland Hotel holds that incredible Disney history with today’s modern style. You’ll be transported to paradise another world away, yet still only a five-minute stroll to the monorail station and Downtown Disney District.

Your plan sounds great, Maria Teresa! Bell Services at the Disneyland Hotel is located just outside the Fantasyland Tower at the main entrance to the hotel, and if your room is not yet ready, Cast Members are available to assist Guests with luggage storage. Then, if your theme park reservation is for Disneyland Park, go ahead and board the Disneyland Monorail, after going through security into Downtown Disney District, and zoom right into Tomorrowland!

Quick Tip: Kindly ask a Cast Member when boarding the monorail if there is room up front in the "nose cone" with the driver or in the back! Both offer a pretty spectacular riding experience, if they're available!

Sometime during your magical stay at the Disneyland Hotel, Maria Teresa, make sure to check out the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad diorama in the Frontier Tower Lobby. The diorama was built to a 1/4" to 1' scale of Frontierland's famous coaster and is a recreation of the original model used by Imagineers in the 1970s to create Big Thunder. It's incredible and my family, including two young sons, can't get enough of taking in every little detail.

I hope this information has been helpful, Maria Teresa. As you're preparing for your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth, please stop by and ask me another question anytime! I'd love to share more of my tips and recommendations for a truly magical time in Disneyland, like maybe my not-to-be-missed Disneyland 70th Celebration treats or some strategies to make sure you hit all your top priority attractions.

    See you real soon!

    Warmest wishes,
    McCayla
