Greetings, Isurangie, and welcome back to planDisney! There are three Disneyland Resort hotels, each with their own special features. I'm happy to provide some insights that can help you decide where to stay!
I've found I can typically get better rates at either Pixar Place Hotel or the Disneyland Hotel, depending on available offers, how far in advance I'm booking, and when I'm looking to stay. I consider the Grand Californian to be the most indulgent option of the three with a higher average cost per night.
When I think of the
Disneyland Hotel, the words nostalgic, magical, and modern come to mind. It has my favorite pool area and is home to Goofy's Kitchen. This is a classic option that any Disney fan would love.
Pixar Place Hotel is whimsical, bold, and contemporary. The stories of Pixar films seem to come to life here, and I love that Guests of this hotel can use a special entrance into California Adventure.
Isurangie, you should definitely visit the Disneyland website to
check out the available offers, like the
20% savings on select Disneyland Resort hotel stays as part of the
Disneyland 70th Celebration. Typically, I've found that staying mid-week is more affordable than staying on a Friday or Saturday night. Keep that in mind in case your travel dates are flexible.
There are many benefits to staying within the Disneyland Resort. Located on the property, the hotels offer convenient access to the parks,
Early Entry, and
activities for resort hotel Guests. You can sense the Disney magic in the rooms, lobbies, Cast Member interactions, pool areas, and more. There are so many details, big and small, that I'm still noticing new surprises each time I visit. If you stay at one of these hotels, leave time to relax at the poolside. Who doesn't love a waterslide and a whirlpool spa?
Of course, if you want to expand your options, there are also
Good Neighbor Hotel Vacation Packages available that offer accommodations at hotels near the Disneyland Resort along with theme park tickets.
Isurangie, I hope this information has sprinkled some pixie dust on your planning efforts. Since you'll surely have a few jam-packed days in the parks, where you choose to rest up is a big decision! If you have any other questions, please reach out to us here at planDisney. We're always happy to help!
Your pal,
Kriss
