Hi Josephine!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! If you're thinking about your budget for a 7-Night Disney Cruise, you must have already booked one or are planning to! How exciting! One of the many reasons we love sailing is because
so much is included in the base price of a Disney Cruise. With that being said, there are many opportunities to spend a little extra while sailing the high seas!
While every pirate family's spending is different aboard a Disney Cruise, I'm happy to give you ideas of some of the extra fun you can budget for that is not included in the price of your cruise. One of the things you can budget in advance for are gratuities for your incredible team of Cast Members and Crew who made your vacation extra magical. The
suggested amount of gratuities for a 7-Night voyage gives you an idea of what you can budget for. Another thing that you may want to plan for are Port Adventures! The price for each Port Adventure is listed on the right side of the selected Port Adventure. If you are interested in using Disney Cruise Line's Ground Transportation to get to and from the ship, the current fare is $35 per person each direction.
Once onboard, there are so many pixie-dusted experiences you may want to purchase! Pictures taken of your family by the professional photographers, adult beverages by the pool, a cup of coffee at the Cove Cafe, or a massage at the Senses Spa & Salon are just a few that come to mind. If you're sailing with younger buccaneers, they may want to experience Royal Court Royal Tea, the Arr-cade or a transformation at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique!
Each family's budget will be different but I hope I was able to give you some ideas of extras that you may want to budget for!
