Hi Moms btw luv luv the panel!! Well this will be our 2nd Disney vacation 4/18-4/24... 1st we have 6 night myw tix should I go straight 2 a park or wait till the next day? 2nd I have 15 yr boy 10yr girl 7yr girl Have ADR chef Mickey thinking 1 more help!

Helping families plan their dream vacations to Walt Disney World is an absolute delight so thank you for your enthusiasm about the WDW Moms Panel!

Whether or not to head to a park on arrival day will depend on many factors including possible travel delays. Keep an eye on the weather. We like to avoid touring on a rainy day.

I have an 11 year old son and whether we drive or fly to WDW, we are always too tired from traveling to enjoy a park on that first day/evening. Instead, we'll get settled in our hotel and enjoy the pool. Later, we like to venture out for a nice dinner and/or shopping at Downtown Disney. This way, we wake up refreshed the next day and ready to tackle our touring plans.

If your family has six day tickets, you may want to go to a park right away in order to avoid touring on April 24, the Easter holiday. If you wait and use your last park day on April 24th, stay away from the Magic Kingdom as it tends to be the busiest park on holidays.

For another Advance Dining Reservation (ADR), I would suggest Whispering Canyon Cafe' at the Wilderness Lodge or the 50's Prime Time Cafe in Disney's Hollywood Studios. Both offer casual, fun-filled atmospheres with good home-style food.
