Hi Scott,
Welcome back to planDisney! I am delighted to greet a fellow North Carolinian!
The
Hollywood Brown Derby Dine with a Disney Imagineer Experience is temporarily paused. We had just scored a reservation when all reservations had to be cancelled last year. Keep your eyes on the
dining updates and the updates to the
Enchanting Extras Collection. As dining experiences return, those reopened locations will be noted. I understand your excitement for this experience. We were so looking forward to it!
As you continue to plan, there are a few must-do's. Be sure to make
Disney Park Pass system reservations for each day that you have valid theme park admission. Make those reservations as soon as possible if you have not done so already. And, as soon as your dining reservation window opens, make
advanced dining reservations. If you are staying at a
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, be sure to link your resort hotel to your
My Disney Experience account. With a resort hotel linked, you should be able to make all of your dining reservations for the length of your stay once your
dining reservation window opens.
My girls are also interested in Imagineering! Last year, they did some of the
Imagineering In A Box activities and LOVED them. And, if you have not done so already, follow the
Disney Parks Blog to learn more about the fascinating work Imagineers have done with
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. We are also are huge Disney+ Fans and loved every minute of The Imagineering Story.
So, keep watching! If Dine with a Disney Imagineer at Hollywood Brown Derby returns, you will need to make those reservations as soon as your reservation window opens. Remember that you can make dining reservations for the length of stay up to 10 days. So the one time I was able to get a reservation, I had a 10 day stay booked, logged on early on the first day our reservation window opened and was able to make a reservation for a day late in our trip.
Scott, may the Force be with you as you plan!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
