Hi there, Catherine! Welcome to planDisney. With a
summertime visit, it is certainly essential that we stay hydrated in the warm California sunshine. Let’s take a look and see what you can bring along with you to the parks.
One thing’s for sure: you can definitely bring a backpack to the parks! I’m still in my diaper backpack days, where it is packed to the brim with an extra change of clothes, a reusable water bottle, extra sunscreen, a portable charger, and always extra snacks on hand to ward off a hangry toddler. On hot days, I even like to bring small cartons of coconut juice for the extra electrolytes needed for some park hopping action!
According to
Disneyland’s Park Rules and Regulations, suitcases, bags, coolers, or backpacks, with or without wheels, larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high (61 cm x 38 cm x 46 cm) are not allowed in any theme park. Loose or dry ice is not permitted in these containers. Reusable ice packs are recommended. As long as your cooler or backpack meets these requirements, you should be good to go!
Catherine, thank you so much for visiting
planDisney. If you have any more questions or want extra tips on how to pack that backpack for a fun-filled day at the parks, planDisney is here for you!
With a Sprinkle of Pixie Dust,
Bev
