Sarah from England Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I brought a holiday package for 3 people which includes the 14 day magic tickets. When a member of the group adds the reservation to their myexperience app, in their my ticket section it has my name not theirs. Is this correct because I made a group booking

Hi Sarah and welcome to planDisney.

I'm so excited to see that you're planning a trip to my favourite holiday destination, Walt Disney World, next year!

I just noticed that you'll be visiting during the month of October, when my favourite Special Event - Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be taking place. If you're considering attending one of the parties during your stay, be sure to check out the recent planDisney video "We Tried EVERYTHING at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party!" featuring my planDisney pals, Ashley and Ana Paula, for an idea of what to expect.

Going back to your question, Sarah, it sounds to me as though your accounts aren't fully connected in your Family & Friends List so, the first thing to do is to double-check this in your My Disney Experience account:-

1/ Open the app and tap the menu (☰) in the lower right corner.
2/ Select “Profile”, then go to the “Family & Friends List” tab.
3/ Choose “Add a Guest”, follow the prompts, and either find through connected Guests, (by entering a Guest name and age), or by scanning the other person's linking code.

Top Tip - To find the other person's Linking Code, they will need to tap on the 3 horizontal lines on the bottom right of their My Disney Experience app. Scroll to the bottom of the screen then under Account, tap “Profile.” Next, tap “Show My Linking Code.”

Once linked correctly, this should allow you to manage all of the plans from your own account whilst being able to share reservation plans and park tickets with the other person.

If this doesn't resolve the issue, I would highly recommend calling Technical Support. This is a UK number so there's no need to worry about expensive international calls and I can honestly say that they have never failed to sort out any problems I have ever encountered with My Disney Experience.

Additionally, there is lots of great information available about setting up the My Family & Friends List in the FAQ's section of the Walt Disney World website.

I do hope that this has answered your question, Sarah. Please feel free to re-visit us, here at planDisney, if we can be of any further help with the planning of your 2026 visit. You can even ask me a question directly if you would like a UK perspective on anything at all.

Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!

    Emma
