My brother and his wife were going to go with us next month. However, they can’t make it. I need to unlink the tickets from my MDE so she can book later on when she goes or she may give it to her friend. How can I unlink them?

    HIya, Ranvir!

Welcome to planDisney! I am so sorry to hear that your family plans have changed. I imagine that was a bit of a disappointment for your travel party. Let's go through the various options that you have for those tickets so that both travel parties can get back to planning the best trips ever!

I am so glad to hear that you already have a My Disney Experience account. It sounds like your planning is off to a great start! To reassign tickets to your brother and his wife, they will each need to create an individual My Disney Experience account if they have not already completed this step. You will also need to link your account to each of theirs. You can do this through the My Family & Friends tab on The My Disney Experience drop-down menu located on the Walt Disney World website. Select the Add a Guest option at the bottom of the screen. You can connect through a Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation if they have one, or you can select the I'll enter their name and age option. If you are choosing this method, you will enter their contact info and click the Invite this Guest to connect option to email an invitation.

Once you are connected you can reassign the ticket through the My Disney Experience mobile app or on the website. If you are using the app, you will tap the three bars at the bottom of the screen. Then choose the Tickets and Passes tile. Choose the ticket that you would like to assign to your brother and select the "Reassign Ticket" option to proceed. You will follow this same process for assigning a ticket to his wife. To reassign a ticket on the website, choose the Tickets & Memory Maker tab on the My Plans page. Select the tickets to give to your family and choose the reassign option. Tickets can be reassigned until their first use.

Ranvir, if your tickets are part of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation package they are not able to be modified or reassigned as they are part of the package purchase. If this is the case you can modify the package up to 30 days before your arrival. This would give you the option to change the size of your travel party. After the 30 days window, you may be responsible for vacation package change fees. To make these changes you will need to speak to a friendly Cast Member with Disney Resort Hotel Reservations by phone.

I hope that you are able to make your ticket changes with ease and enjoy your upcoming adventure. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that your brother and his family will be planning their visit in the very near future!
    We'll see ya real soon!
