My brother and I have 2 separate bookings, but have linked them on the app. When booking dining, can I book for both reservations or will we each have to do separate bookings?

Welcome back to planDisney, Cheryl-Louise, where you’re always welcome to Be Our Guest!

I’m so happy you stopped by again to see us and “dish” about one of my favorite topics - dining at Walt Disney World!  From character dining to dining packages, and casual options to signature experiences, there are so many great restaurants to consider.  Personally, I like to reserve one sit-down meal each day.  I’ve found that having one dining reservation gives us a chance to enjoy a Table-Service experience while keeping our schedule flexible enough to “go with the flow” a bit.  When we don't have a reservation and are dining at Quick-Service locations, I like to use Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering if available to save time waiting in line!

Advanced dining reservations open 60 days before your visit and can easily be made and managed on the Walt Disney World website.  During the reservation process, you’ll select your party size and preferred date or date range, and then narrow down your dining time and park or resort preferences before searching available reservations.  Cherly-Louise, I'm happy to share that you can absolutely make dining reservations for other Guests joining you for meals, even if their hotel reservation is separate.  After you have confirmed your dining reservation, you can view it in "My Plans" and click "Update Guests" to link the reservation to others on your Family and Friends List.  As the primary Guest, you'll manage the reservation, but anyone you link to the reservation will be able to view it in their plans.

Since you're visiting during the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, I recommend checking out the Eat to the Beat Dining Package.  When you book this dining reservation, you'll enjoy a great meal at an EPCOT restaurant and receive vouchers for reserved seating for the Eat to the Beat Concert that same night!  My preference for this particular package is to book a late breakfast at Garden Grill Restaurant.  It's one of my favorite character dining locations, and reserving breakfast here means I can purchase small bites throughout the afternoon and evening as my lunch and dinner from the many delicious Global Marketplaces located around the park during this festival!  If you're on the Disney Dining Plan, you can redeem 1 Table-Service Meal per person for the Eat to the Beat Dining Package at Garden Grill, making this an even greater value!

I hope this information has been helpful, Cherly-Louise, and that you enjoy making many magical memories during your visit to Walt Disney World Resort!  If you have any other questions, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney - we're all ears!

    Cheers!
    Kristi
