Ahoy Cheryl - welcome back to
planDisney!
Well, I'm happy to answer this question for you because I recently experienced both my very first back-to-back sailings
and my first experience on
the brand-new Disney Wish!
The ability to stay in the same
stateroom on back-to-back sailings really depends on one thing, Cheryl - other Guests! For example, we booked our first sailing well in advance, but we didn't decide to extend our vacation with the second sailing until only a couple of months before debarkation day. By the time we booked the second sailing, the stateroom we had booked for our first sailing was
not available to reserve on the second sailing.
So, if staying in the same stateroom is important for you, Cheryl, I recommend booking early to have the best selection of staterooms that will be available on
both of your sailings. You can do this yourself by looking at stateroom availability on the
Disney Cruise Line website, or you can
call and speak to a Cast Member who can help you identify stateroom options available across both of your desired sailings.
Before I leave you, I'd also like to point out that my crew actually loved staying in
different staterooms across our two back-to-back sailings! This was especially true because it was our first sailing on the Wish. We really enjoyed "living" on two different decks of the ship and experiencing two different stateroom classes. Having these two unique experiences helped us better determine what we'd like to plan for in the future - you might feel similarly!
We look forward to seeing you again
with more questions soon, Cheryl!
