    My brother, who is retired military, bought park hopper passes for me to use when I go to Disney;and this summer. Will I have trouble using them? He will not be going with me.

    Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so happy you are planning a trip to the Disneyland Resort. The ticket offer for active and retired members of the U.S. Military is one of the most generous ticket discounts available to Guests. These specially priced 3-Day and 4-Day Park Hopper Tickets are only available at military base ticket offices for eligible service members and their families. Unfortunately you will not be able to use these tickets once you are at the resort unless you are accompanied by your brother. All Guests using military tickets must be with the eligible service member or military spouse when they enter the park on their first day using the tickets. The service member also needs to be one of the people using a ticket when you activate your tickets at the entrance. Your photo will be taken and linked to your ticket at this time, and you will be exchanged an official Disneyland Resort park ticket at the gate. Once you get your official paper ticket, you no longer need to be with the military service member when you plan on re-entering into the park for the remainder of your stay. 

    I would try to see if your brother can join you at least for your first day so that you can both enjoy these generously discounted tickets. Cast Members are very strict about verifying military ID's for these tickets, so I'm glad you checked with us here before arriving and not being able to use your tickets.
