    My brother is military and will be activating all our passes when they first arrive, we won’t be there until later on day 4, will we still need him to walk us through the gate? Or will our 4day passes be activated already and we could enter at our leisure?

    Greetings Walter!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and I would first like to thank your brother for his military service. The specially priced military 3-Day and 4-Day Park Hopper Tickets are such an amazing benefit. We have been very thankful that the Disneyland Resort has continued the tradition of offering this to military personnel and their families. When activating your tickets at the gate, you will need to be accompanied by your brother who will show his military ID. He will not be able to activate your tickets until you are present at the gate. After you activate the tickets together, you are free to be independent for the remainder of the trip if you wish.

    As a military service member your brother will definitely want to stop by the flag pole at Disneyland Park for the Flag Retreat ceremony which happens every day at 5 PM. This short patriotic ceremony celebrates the sacrifice and bravery of members of every branch of service in the U.S. military. We love the live music from the famous Disneyland Band and the fact that this historic ceremony has been taking place since Disneyland's earliest days in the 1950's.
