Hi Erin,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Congratulations on your upcoming 15th wedding anniversary! I can think of no better way to celebrate it than at the Walt Disney World Resort.
First, let me say thank you to your brother-in-law for his service to our country. I can imagine how proud you are of him. According to the
special offer details for military members, the military person (or spouse) can purchase the tickets at a participating military sales outlet and must be present to activate the tickets at a Walt Disney World theme park ticket window. Your brother-in-law (or spouse) would thus need to be present for you to activate the tickets and use them in the parks.
If you are able to use the military discount with your brother-in-law, remember also that he could purchase
Memory Maker at a discount. My family loves Memory Maker because it gives us access to photo downloads of all of the pictures we have taken at Disney PhotoPass photographers. Since it will be your anniversary, you will want those memories captured. Remember that discounts and policies can change, so double-check as it gets closer to your visit.
Consider also making a special dining reservation for the anniversary evening. Try 'Ohana, Narcoossee or California Grill during the Happily Ever After fireworks show at Magic Kingdom. The view, the food - perfection!
Erin, if you are unable to take advantage of the military discount, do check the other
special offers at the Walt Disney World Resort. To save money in the past, we reduced the number of days of our visit. Bring on the magic!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
