Hi there, Cheryl!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! As a previous Disney Cruise Line Guest and Castaway Club member, I know you are so excited for the fun that awaits you in Alaska. If you have yet to explore Alaska, get ready for an adventure unlike any other!
Alaskan itineraries do not include a Pirate Night, but rather you will get to experience a fun Frozen-themed deck party! Be prepared to “Freeze the Night Away” with the beloved Princess Anna, Queen Elsa and all their friends. Your specific voyage is not a Halloween on the High Seas itinerary, but as you are well aware, there will be plenty of fun activities and entertainment to keep you more than busy! And with so much to see at the ports you visit, you will undoubtedly be busy! Speaking of adventures, have you begun to look through the excursions offered through
Port Adventures for your time on land? I highly recommend visiting the Mendenhall Glacier when in Juneau and Disney Cruise Line’s Port Adventures offers a variety of different ways for you to see it – some more adventurous and some more leisurely.
Another favorite thing of mine to do when at sea on a voyage that is different than spending the days in the sunny Caribbean is to visit the Rainforest Room at least once! Nothing better than warming up in the sauna after a day of exploring on land! You can pre-purchase a one-day pass through
In-Room Gifts & Amenities or you can purchase a cruise-length pass from Senses Spa on embarkation day. And don’t forget to book your tenth Disney Cruise Line vacation while onboard to secure your Platinum-level Castaway Club status!
Wishing you a WONDERful and exciting adventure in Alaska!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
