    My brother is buying my ticket and he puts his name it, can I still use it?

    Hi Sherrell! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for stopping by to send us your question! 

    What a nice brother you have to buy you a Theme Park Ticket to visit The Happiest Place on Earth! Identification isn't required for most ticket types. If your brother has purchased a Southern California Resident ticket, he would be the only one who could use it. Otherwise, the name on the Theme Park Ticket doesn't need to reflect your name. Once scanned at the gate of Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park, the ticket is assigned to the person using it. You will also need a Theme Park Reservation on the date you plan to visit. You can see available dates on the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar.

    The 70th Anniversary Celebration begins soon at the Disneyland Resort, and I hope you can join in on the fun! This special celebration includes many new magical offerings starting on May 16th. You can find out more in the 70th Anniversary Guide on Disney Parks Blog.
