My brother and I are bringing our families down for one big happy family vacation. His crew at Polynesian and my crew at Saratoga Springs. We are doing a pool day. Can we go to each other’s resort to swim so all the cousins can get their Nemo together?

    Hi Sara!

Thanks for coming back to see us at planDinsey! I'm so excited to hear that you are planning a big family vacation to Walt Disney World Resort. I hope you are planning on adding Memory Maker to your trip because you will definitely want to capture all of the incredible memories you make together with your brother's family while you are celebrating the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration.

You have picked two incredible Disney Resorts Collection hotels for your vacation. Both Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa will make fantastic vacation homes for your families. While Guests are welcome to "resort hop" and explore other Disney Resorts Collection hotels during their visits, hotel pools are reserved exclusively for Guests staying at that hotel. So, unfortunately, your family and your brother's family won't be able to visit the pools at each other's hotels during your trip.

If your families are interested in having a water day together, I recommend that you plan a visit to one of the Water Parks at Walt Disney World Resort during your vacation. Both Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park are perfect places for your family to find their inner Nemos and explore the Big Blue World!

Since there are quite a bit of new and returning experiences headed to Walt Disney World Resort, I recommend that you keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog to get the latest info about what you will enjoy during your visit. Also, feel free to come back to see us if you have additional questions as you continue planning. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
