Hi there, Christine! Welcome to planDisney.
In the words of Donald Duck, "Aw, phooey!" I'm so sorry to hear you'll have a broken foot for your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation. But Hakuna Matata, Christine! Like Simba, we're going to start this question on the right paw because, with
Walt Disney World Resort transportation, you'll find that getting around with a scooter is a problem-free philosophy.
One of my favorite activities at Walt Disney World is doing a split-stay at two different Resort hotels. I enjoy exploring the hotels just as much as visiting theme parks, and you've chosen two great Resorts. When you are ready to check out of your first hotel, simply take your luggage down to
Bell Services and let them know that you are transferring to another Disney hotel. They will handle the transfer of your luggage at no charge. Because buses do not run from Resort hotel to Resort hotel, you'll want to take Disney transportation to Hollywood Studios, where you can catch a
bus to your second Resort hotel.
I'm not sure if you have already set up your
ECV rental, so I wanted to share a link from the Walt Disney World website to help you. I have traveled with several family members who rented their scooters from Disney's featured provider, ScooterBug. We found their service to be easy to use, from making the reservation to the delivery and pickup. If you have any questions, please let us know!
Christine, if you find yourself exploring the Disney BoardWalk area, be sure to stop by
BoardWalk Ice Cream. The Bayside Brownie À la Mode is SO YUMMY! Have a wonderful vacation! Follow us on
Instagram. We are always here to help!
Happy planning,
Shonette
