Disney Cruise, don't be surprised if you feel the same way!
One of the many things that stood out on my first Disney Cruise last April was
the entertainment. Not just the amount of offerings, but the quality. As someone who has seen a lot of
Broadway shows, it is not an exaggeration to say that these shows are Broadway-caliber. The production value, the performances, all of it, were incredible. And I'm sure the same will be true on your journey as well. Like Ariel discovering a cave full of treasures, you'll find plenty of incredible live entertainment aboard the ship.
Currently, the live show options on the Disney Wish include
Disney The Little Mermaid (a reimagining that's exclusive to this ship),
Disney Seas the Adventure, and
Disney's Aladdin - A Musical Spectacular. Trust me, these productions are treasures worthy of Ariel's grotto! Since entertainment options can change, be sure to open up the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator mobile app when you arrive at the port terminal to view the specific shows, dates, and times for your particular cruise itinerary.
And let me give you a little tip: don't just concentrate on the big, Broadway-style shows. The ship will be full of entertainment options. On your cruise, there will likely be live music, comedy acts, and family game shows at
Luna, which is a live entertainment venue with offerings during the day and night. Think of it as your own treasure hunt because you never know what hidden gems you'll discover! Once again, that Navigator app will be your friend for finding entertainment options throughout the cruise. I suggest selecting the "heart" icon on the activities you are most interested in so that you can keep track of them and easily decide if you're going to attend as they come up!
