Welcome back to planDisney, Denise! It's a pleasure to have you sail our way with more questions. My pals and I are here to help you feel shipshape and ready to cruise with Captains Mickey and Minnie.
I had the pleasure of sailing to
Alaska earlier this summer, and my family had an incredible time. The views from the ship, the wildlife, and the stunning ports of call made our time in Alaska so memorable. You might hear strong opinions from some folks that a stateroom with a verandah is a must for a sailing to Alaska, but our crew was happy with an ocean view from the porthole in our stateroom. We saw seaplanes, seals, whales, and gorgeous views of majestic mountains and waterfalls, all from the comfort and warmth of our stateroom. While we did spend quite a bit of time on Decks 4 and 10 during Glacier Viewing Day, we were very happy with our stateroom choice.
The
Disney Wonder is a fantastic ship. I love the size and the layout. One of my favorite dining experiences is in
Tiana's Place onboard. You'll hear live jazz music and get a visit from Princess Tiana herself. If you enjoy seafood, I highly recommend the sea bass on the menu. Enjoy the party vibes and the vibrant atmosphere!
As you'll be celebrating your 42nd anniversary onboard the ship, you could celebrate with a dinner or brunch reservation at the adult-exclusive restaurant,
Palo. Reservations can be made once your cruise fare is paid in full and your
online booking window opens. For brunch, my favorite dish is the lasagna, and at dinner, don't miss the soufflé for dessert. You might also consider a visit to the
Senses Spa onboard during your sailing. 42 years is something to celebrate! Congratulations to you both.
Denise, if you have more questions, please write us again. We'll be here for you!
Happy Planning,
Adrianna
