Hello and welcome to
planDisney, Virginia!
As a fellow toddler mama, I am so happy to help you! I know that the memories you will create with your family at the
Disneyland Resort will be so memorable.
Regarding your question, you do not need to bring a form of identification to show proof of age for your child. Moreover, Guests ages 3+ would need
Disney Genie+ if they are wishing to use the service. The following attractions are those with
Lightning Lane entrances that a child of three years of age could experience in
Disneyland Park:
- Autopia
- Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters
- Haunted Mansion
- "it's a small world
- Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin
Of the above attractions, my family's favorites are Autopia and "it's a small world." If you decided not to purchase Genie+ for your little one, an adult could supervise the child while the rest of the group experiences an attraction. And don't forget that the purchase of Genie+ includes unlimited
Disney PhotoPass photo downloads! That is one of my favorite features of the service.
I also
highly recommend you visit the new
Mickey's Toontown! This is a land the entire family will enjoy. It has just reopened to Guests and was reimagined to welcome all ages! There are play zones, rest zones, and attractions too! And the newest attraction in the resort,
Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway calls this land home. There is no height requirement and the queue is an attraction in itself! I also recommend trying the food and beverage options at
Café Daisy! I personally love the Specialty Cold Brrr-ew and the Spring Garden Wrap.
Oh! And if you love parades, please make time in your day to watch the
"Magic Happens" Parade. You will love all of the characters and the music featured in this parade! You can check showtimes in the
Disneyland Mobile App.
Virginia, I hope this helps you! If you have more questions, feel free to return--you can even
ask me directly. I wish you and your group the happiest visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
Your Pal,
Alejandra
