Hi Jonathan ~
Taking your child to Disney for the first time is always super exciting! There is nothing like seeing the magic through the eyes of your child. Be sure to pick up a "1st Visit" button for your son at your Disney Resort Hotel or any theme park Guest Relations location. You never know what pixie dust will come his way.
I have been traveling to Disney World with my boys since they were born. Here are some
tips for traveling with toddlers that I have found helpful during our trips.
A
character meal is a great way to meet the characters. You get to enjoy a fabulous meal while waiting for the characters to come to you. Chef Mickey's and the Crystal Palace are two of my boys' favorites.
I would recommend spending a couple of days at the Magic Kingdom. There are so many things for little Mouseketeers to do there including these
pre-schooler favorites. If your son loves Mickey (and so do I!), be sure to visit Mickey in the Town Square Theater. He talks at this location!
"Disney Junior - Live on Stage!" at Disney's Hollywood Studios is another big hit with pre-schoolers. Your son can also meet some great characters there like Jake from
Jake and the Never Land Pirates.
Be sure to take advantage of
Disney PhotoPass Service so that you can all be in the pictures and let them capture your special memories.
Please feel free to visit us with all of your planning questions. We'll be hEAR for you up until you embark on your pixie dusted trail!
Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
