Hi, we are bringing our 8yr old on our first and surprise trip to WDW in August. We all love rides - can we use baby swap so we can both get to ride with her? Or will we have to queue again?

Hello Hannah!  Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I am so excited for your first Walt Disney World vacation.  I know you are going to have a magical time together as a family.

The Rider Switch Service is designed for families that have a child or children in their party that are not tall enough to ride an attraction or a child that simply does not want to.  In your case, where everyone in your party wants to ride the Rider Switch Pass would not apply.  There are several attractions at each of the 4 theme parks where you will all be able to sit together.  If you are not able to sit side by side on a certain attraction, the remaining member of your party will be either right in front of you or right behind you.  When you tell the Cast Members that you are a party of 3, they do their very best to accommodate you.

When I travel with my family to Walt Disney World, we are a party of 3 and I never feel like we are separated.  I think you will be pleasantly surprised at how much you all can sit together.  I hope this helps. Please feel free to ask me any other questions you may have.  Have a magical day!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
