We are bringing our 4 yr old daughter 10/14 -10/19/12. Everyone tells me to book dining reservations in advance. We have the dining plan, how do I reserve with the plan? I am not sure we want to be on a schedule is reservations highly recommended?

    Hi Claudia!

Making dining reservations in advance is highly recommended, especially for the character dining restaurants.  It is almost impossible to get in as a walk up.  I did say almost, so there is a possibility that you can catch a cancellation.  I understand not wanting to be on a time sensitive schedule, my husband says the same thing to me all the time.  If you want to wing it, then I suggest making a reservation for at least the one restaurant you definitely want to experience, like Chef Mickey's.

You can making advance dining reservations by calling (407) WDW-DINE and let the Cast Member you are speaking with know you are on the Disney Dining Plan.  You can also make your reservations online, where you can check the box that you are on the dining plan.

    Have a magical day!
