We are bringing our 5-year-old grandson who has a heart defect to WDW. We plan on getting him a stroller as he would wear out easily and not use to the humidity. Would he qualify for a special pass so that he would not have to wait long in line? Thanks

Hi, Jennifer!  How awesome that you get to share the magic of Walt Disney World with your grandson!  Some of our best Walt Disney World memories are ones we share with Grandmoms and Grandpops!

You can absolutely get your grandson a Guest Assistance Card.  If you have just a short note from his physician, it may be easier for you to let the Cast Members know what type of assistance he needs.  If you don't have a note, just let them know that he tires easily, and they will make whatever provisions they can to help make his trip a bit easier.

In most cases, they can put you in a Fast Pass line, so your wait will not be as long, and whenever they can, to avoid the heat and humidity, they will let you wait inside an attraction, or at least out of the sun.  They have always done their best to make sure guests with special requirements are as comfortable as possible.

I hope your vacation is wonderful, and you bring home many happy memories!
