We are bringing our 5 & 2 year olds to Disney for the first time. Can we bring water and juice boxes into the park for them to drink?

    Hi, Mark!

Great question! And the answer is: ABSOLUTELY!

We don't step foot off of our resort property without having a cool beverage for each person in our group. Wide-mouthed, sealable, refillable bottles are the perfect items to fill with ice (from either your resort ice machine, food court or, if staying in a 1+ bedroom villa, from your freezer) then top off with water. Keep the juice boxes chilled overnight as well, then pack them in a soft-sided thermal bag which you can then store under the stroller. Everyone will be happy if you've got drinks and snacks for them whenever they are needed. (Heck, we're all grumpy if we are thirsty or hungry, right?)

Toss in a few easy-to-tote snacks as well, keeping in mind the temperature of the season. We bring small bags of fruit snacks, Goldfish crackers, trail mix and granola bars for those times when someone's hungry, but it's not time for a meal yet. Keeps LOTS of problems from arising, that's for sure.

Send more questions about bringing your little ones to Walt Disney World for their very first visit, Mark! I'd love to help make this first visit the most magical it can be!
