Greetings, Mai, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I love helping my fellow Californians plan their next visit to the
Happiest Place on Earth… so let’s get started!
As a mom of three Mouseketeers under the age of 8, I understand how much planning goes into a park visit with
little ones. I’m happy to report that there are more than 60
attractions without height restrictions, so there will be more than enough to keep your family busy!
Here’s a handy list of those attractions, so you can start mapping out your favorites. My family loves
Disneyland Park classics like “it’s a small world,” Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Casey Jr. Circus Train, Peter Pan’s Flight, and Jungle Cruise. In
Disney California Adventure Park, we adore Jessie’s Critter Carousel, Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind, The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure, and Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue!
When you find yourself needing a break, I recommend taking a ride on the
Disneyland Railroad. This is the perfect way to rest tired feet while still taking in the sights and sounds of Disneyland Park! In Disney California Adventure Park, I love visiting the Disney Animation Building for a much-needed rest on the plush couches of the Animation Courtyard, where you and your little ones can enjoy classic Disney animation on the large screens all around you.
You’re also going to want to take advantage of the
Baby Care Centers – there’s one inside each park. In Disneyland Park, you'll find the Center at the end of Main Street, U.S.A., next to First Aid. In Disney California Adventure Park, the Center is located on Pacific Wharf, just behind Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop. There, you can change, feed, and even purchase baby necessities from the handy vending machines.
Here’s the
Entertainment Schedule for your day of arrival, so you can start making your magical plans! In October, the only parade at Disneyland Park will be the Mickey and Friends Band-Tastic Cavalcade, since the Main Street Electrical Parade ends its run on September 30. The Frightfully Fun Parade will occur on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays at Disney California Adventure Park, but only during Oogie Boogie Bash, which requires a separate ticket for admission. On your arrival day, you can still enjoy World of Color at Disney California Adventure Park, since it’s a non-party night there. In Disneyland Park, be sure to catch Fantasmic! and Halloween Screams with Fireworks.
I hope this helps you plan out your magical adventures. Please stop by with any additional questions you have… I’m all EARs!
See ya’ real soon!
