We are bringing my 4 year old and 2 year old to Disney in June '09 and staying at Pop Century We plan on using bus transportation. What types of strollers to you recommend? Two umbrellas to fold easily for buses or a double to make life easier in the park

Jeremy this is a tough question to answer because it is all about what makes life easier for you and what will cause the least amount of hassle.

You are correct in that the two umbrella strollers would be much easier for the busses. No matter what kind of stroller you have they will require you to fold it up and tuck it away out of the aisles. I have seen numerous families struggle with their double-wides trying to obey the drivers.  This is a  law so the driver cannot give you any leeway.  Part of the problem begins when families have the larger stroller and they use it to also store away their packages and bags and then have to unload all of those things to fold up the stroller. Don't forget you are able to obtain stroller rentals daily in all the parks so that is another option for not dealing with the busses.  Disney also has umbrella strollers for purchase in most of their stores.

In some respects the two individual strollers might also work better in the parks.  Getting through narrow walkways with a double is tricky and when you have two strollers it allows you to go in two different directions if the children have different choices or one cannot ride an attraction due to height restrictions or one needs a bathroom break etc.

From my personal experience the less bulky the stroller the easier it is to travel around and also to store in the resort rooms.
