Hi! We're bringing our 6 year old and 2 year old to Disney for the first time 12/10-12/13/2014. Will The Magic Kingdom still keep regular park hours in addition to the extra hours for Mickey's Magical Christmas Party? And are seperate tickets required?

    Hello Shannon,

I am so excited for you!  You are your little ones are sure to have an amazing time at Walt DIsney World, especially during the holidays.  During the dates of your visit, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, a separate ticketed event, is offered on December 11 and 12.  On party nights, Magic Kingdom Park will close at 7pm for Guests without a party ticket.  If morning Extra Magic Hours are scheduled on the day of a party, they will still occur.  For example, the calendar currently shows that Magic Kingdom will have morning Extra Magic Hours on December 11.  I encourage you to purchase tickets for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, if you can.  It is not to be missed, in my opinion.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I wish you and your family a truly magical vacation!
