We are bringing our 1 year old to WDW in May (First trip!!!). We are so excited. I can't quite tell if there are bottle wamers in the Baby Care Centers. If not, are we allowed to bring ours to use in the centers? Thank you!

    Hi Melanie,

Welcome back to planDisney! I’m truly so excited to hear that you’re planning your first visit with your little one this May! I still have amazing memories of my son’s first visit to Walt Disney World Resort. Although travelling with a baby was a little hectic at first, once we found our groove, that trip became one of my favourite Disney vacations of all time.

During my son’s first visit, we visited the Baby Care Centers a lot, in every Theme Park. My personal favourite one was the EPCOT location, with the Magic Kingdom Park’s Center a very close second. I loved the massive changing tables – they were fabulous when I needed to change my very wiggly baby’s diapers!  I distinctly remember seeing microwaves and bottle warmers in all of the centers, but I understand your confusion because these amenities don’t seem to be on the official list that is posted online. Based on the research that I was able to do, I believe that bottle warmers should still be available in the Care Centers, or you’ll be able to use a microwave to heat up your baby’s bottles.

Because availability of certain amenities is always subject to change, I’d recommend that you bring your portable warmer with you, at least during your first day in the Parks. I don’t think that it should be an issue because a bottle warmer isn’t on the list of prohibited items at Walt Disney World Resort, provided it doesn’t have a glass container.

Please speak to the Cast Members at each Baby Care Center that you visit; they’ll be able to give you more information about what’s available in each Theme Park and even give you some great tips for travelling with your little one.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!

Have a Magical Day and enjoy making memories with your wee one,

    Lynne
