    Hi, we are bringing our 4 year old to WDW for his first trip and first Christmas at WDW. Does Disney do anything special for children on Christmas morning at the Port Orleans Riverside

    Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

    Christmas at Walt Disney World Resort is such a wonderful time to visit - the Christmas decorations are very beautiful, all over the Resort, and I feel they are an attraction all of their own.

    Full details of Christmas activities at the Resort hotels are not available yet, but the entertainment at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside for Christmas 2011 were as follows:

    24th December: 8.00-9.30 am -  Holiday Character Meet & Greet; 5.00-8.45pm - Picture Time with Santa.

    25th December: 1.00-2.00pm - Name that Holiday Tune; 2.00-3.00pm - Holly Jolly Pool Party; 3.00-4.00pm - Cupcake Decorating; 4.00pm Poolside Craft; 5.30 pm - Holiday campfire; 7.00 pm Holiday Movie under the Stars.

    As you can see, there was a lot of entertainment provided for all ages, and I'm sure you will find many activities are offered this year too.  Have a wonderful Christmas vacation!
