Bringing g our 6 year old, staying at Disneyland Hotel. Do we really need to bring changes of clothing into the park, other large items? How quick is it to get back to our hotel room?

    Greetings Kathryn!

Thanks for reaching out to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I'm thrilled you will be visiting the Disneyland Resort and staying at the classic and modern Disneyland Hotel. One of the benefits of staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel is the proximity of these hotels to the theme parks and ease of returning to your hotel throughout the day. You can travel by foot or by taking the sleek Disneyland Monorail from Disneyland Park which brings you steps from the Disneyland Hotel.

If you would prefer to spend more time in the parks and not return to your hotel throughout the day, my advice would be to bring any extra clothes or necessities with you and utilize the convenient locker rentals located at either Disneyland Park of Disney California Adventure Park. I have done this on a few occasions when I knew the evening weather was going to be a little chilly, and I left sweatshirts for us to wear later. A great benefit of these lockers is that for one price you can use them throughout the entire day to place souvenirs or anything else you don't want to carry with you inside of them. I have also used them to store small snacks and sunscreen to apply throughout the day as well.

I hope this helps with your decision, and have a magical day!
