We are bringing our 2 year old son and 8 year old neice in June we are planning on doing two days in the Magic Kingdom any advice on what we can do to make this a magical experience for both of them. It is both of there 1st time as well as my husbands.

Hey, Magdelena! Your son, niece and husband are blessed to have you plan their first WDW vacation! Two days in the Magic Kingdom are great, and here's what I suggest:

    • Take a look at the featured question on the Moms Panel site to see how many of the panel members answered the same question about a family's first trip to WDW.  There are some great tips and ideas that will help you tremendously!
    • Next, find the Magic Kingdom Map and explore the park prior to your visit. You can even customize your maps to fit your plans!
    • You'll also want to find out Park Hours & Entertainment Schedules to make the best use of your time. Getting there as soon as the park opens and heading straight to Fantasyland is the best strategy for younger children.
    • Making Advanced Dining Reservations will be helpful in planning your day also. A character meal will allow for the kids to see their favorite characters without standing in line for them at the parks, and you'll be able to sit down in the air conditioning to relax for a while.
I hope this has helped you! Write back if you have more questions. Have a beautiful Alabama day, and a most magical vacation!
