I am bringing my 8 year old son to WDW but we only have 2 days and not hopper tickets. Which two parks would you suggest for an 8 year old? We will be there on a Friday and a Saturday.

Hi, Brandi! You are going to have a great two days with your son no matter which two parks you choose. Yet, I always recommend the Magic Kingdom for any family since it's the quintessential Disney experience. My three sons have always loved attractions such as Pirates of the Caribbean, Splash Mountain, Tom Sawyer's Island, the Haunted Mansion, Buzz Lightyear and the Tea Cups. As far as the second park I would recommend, it is really going to depend on his interests.

Is he an "action" guy and likes the thrill of the movies? Then, Disney's Hollywood Studios is your park of choice. It's smaller and easy to navigate. However, get there as early as it opens to secure a Fast Pass to Toy Story Mania and to plan out the timing of the various shows throughout the day.

Are science and culture his thing? Epcot's mixture of the newest and latest in technology combined with the food, entertainment and ambiance of the countries of World Showcase make this huge theme park both entertaining and educational. Make sure you make an Advanced Dining Reservation for one of the wonderful restaurants and take time to explore Innoventions in Future World.

Is he an animal lover? Animal Kingdom is so much more than a zoo! It combines a theme park in an oasis setting where there are rare and interesting animals of the world around every twist and turn. Plus, there's world-class entertainment, thrilling attractions and fantastic dining choices, too. It's essential to get to this park as early as possible when the animals are the most active and the lines are the shortest. (Plus, it's usually the first of the four theme parks to close in the evening!)

I hope this has helped you make some plans, and come back to ask more questions if you need to. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
