We're bringing our 4-year old son in May for 5 days - his 1st trip! - during Star Wars Weekends. We can't decide between staying at a resort on the monorail or staying closer to Hollywood Studios. (I imagine we'll be riding Star Tours a lot!) Suggestions?

Hi Krista, My family will be attending Star Wars Weekend for the very first time this year and like you, are very excited about it. If you think that you will be spending a lot of time at Disney's Hollywood Studios during your stay, I would seriously consider staying at one of the Disney Deluxe Resort hotels located in the BoardWalk Area such as the Yacht Club, Beach Club or Boardwalk Inn. It is possible to walk to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios from all of these hotels and there is also a lovely boat service to and from Disney's Hollywood Studios. All of these Deluxe Resort hotels offer similar amenities to those situated on the Resort monorail loop and if you are looking for a great pool, Stormalong Bay at Disney's Beach Club is absolutely fantastic. You can find out more information about each of these Deluxe Resort hotels on the Walt Disney World website. Wishing you a magical trip filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
